Krystal Marie Ball

 Krystal Marie Ball (born November 24, 1981) is an American political commentator. Her past roles included being a presidential candidate and hosting a television show on MSNBC. She's a frequent contributor to The Huffington Post, a frequent contributor to The Huffington Post, and a former co-host on The Hill's Rising with Saagar Ejeti. Enjeti and Ball decided to end the show in May 2021. This was to allow for the release of Breaking Points (Krystal and Saagar). Ball hosts Krystal Kyle & Friends' podcast along with Kyle Kulinski. She has been featured on various networks' programs, including CNN, Fox News, Fox News, CNBC, Fox News, and Real Time alongside Bill Maher. As of 2020, Ball is married to Jonathan Dariyanani. Ball is able to attribute her interest in politics partly due to her experience being a mother in the 2008 primary elections. In addition, she witnessed the US presidential election during her time in Jordan. She witnessed the impact it had on residents of her home country and was moved to see the international impact of US politics. She was a Senior Fellow with the New Leaders Council. Ball was the Democratic Party nominee in Virginia's 1st Congressional District for Congress in 2010, losing to Rob Wittman, who is the incumbent Republican. She hosted The Cycle, a MSNBC TV show that she hosted from June 2012 through August 2015. She hosted The Cycle on MSNBC from June 2012 until July 2015.
